Nature of Our Products
YellowCouch Co. sells custom, made-to-order illustrated portraits based on photos submitted by customers. Because each product is created specifically for the individual customer after order placement, our return and cancellation terms differ from standard retail products — see our Money-Back Guarantee below and our Shipping Policy for full details.
Intellectual Property
Once your final portrait is approved and delivered, you own the rights to use your finished artwork for personal purposes (printing, framing, sharing, gifting). YellowCouch Co. retains the right to display finished artwork — with identifying features altered or removed where appropriate — in our own marketing and portfolio materials, unless you notify us otherwise at support@yellowcouch.com.
All original background designs, house styles (including "The Sunshine Sofa," "The Retro Diner," and "The Cosmic Lab"), site content, and branding are the property of YellowCouch Co. and may not be reproduced or resold without permission.
Customer-Submitted Content
By uploading a photo to YellowCouch Co., you confirm that you own the rights to that photo, or have permission to use it, and that you have the right to request its use in a custom illustration. You agree not to upload photos containing content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on completed orders, alongside unlimited free revisions prior to final approval. Full terms are available by contacting support@yellowcouch.com.
Limitation of Liability
YellowCouch Co. strives for accuracy and quality in every order but cannot guarantee that every illustration will meet every subjective expectation beyond the revisions and guarantee terms outlined above. To the fullest extent permitted by law, YellowCouch Co.'s liability for any claim arising from your order is limited to the amount paid for that order.
